Draw a map of your block or apartment building.
Include: a compass rose (N, S, E, W), a key with 3 symbols (house, tree, road), a title, and a label for your home. Color streets gray and parks green.
Write three rules that help keep your home or class safe.
For each rule, tell who it helps and what would happen if no one followed it. Example: 'Walk in the halls — it keeps everyone from bumping and falling.'
Pick a helper in your town. Tell what they do and why it matters.
Choose one: librarian, nurse, mail carrier, bus driver, firefighter. Write 3–4 sentences. Add one question you would ask them.
Compare one thing — like school, travel, or play — between 1925 and today.
Draw a T-chart. On the left write 'Then.' On the right write 'Now.' Add at least 3 differences and 1 thing that is the same.
